Women of Comics Books:

Life Ain’t Nothin’ But Comix Signing

4/21/2006   TORONTO, Ontario: In preparation of the upcoming Women of Comics Symposium, and to kick off the 30th Anniversary of the Silver Snail – three of DC comic’s top female talent will be signing books at the Silver Snail’s Queen Street West location, Friday, April 28th from 11:30 to 2:30 pm.

The Life Ain’t Nothin’ But Comix signing will feature top-selling writer Gail Simone (Birds of Prey, Villains United, Killer Princesses), indy superstar artist Becky Cloonan (Channel Zero, Demo, American Virgin), and fan favorite comic artist Amanda Conner (JSA Classified, Two Step, The Pro) – a cross section of talent from the mainstream and indie worlds of comic books.

With the primary importance of bringing an additional spotlight and promotion to the Women of Comics Symposium, sponsored by All New Comics, happening that weekend, the signing will also be the first of many upcoming events celebrating the Silver Snail’s 30th year of business, a pioneer in the comic’s industry.

The signing will be held at 367 Queen Street West, in the upper section of Silver Snail. There will be a table with special deals of all three guest’s works.
